Even after eighteen years of keeping a home and raising children, I still feel very much like a rookie at times. I love to glean from others who are more experienced, knowledgeable, and organized. Learning is a lifelong pursuit and should be a lifestyle.
I've happened upon a fun blog that led me to a helpful link that is hosting a great giveaway, and I just had to share it with my friends here. One thing I really miss about living in the States is the plethora of whole food choices and other great resources for feeding our growing family. So, if you eat -- and I know you do! -- click these links and get some fresh inspiration for healthful living. The best part is that the author offers tips for how to eat well on a budget, and she leaves no room for excuses like, "I don't have time for meal planning and preparation with these children under foot," or "It's just too expensive to eat well."
When I first started learning about better eating and meal planning, I had five very young children, a husband with a busy Army training schedule, no grandparents nearby to help, no Mother's Day Out, and no nanny. Oh, yeah, and we had very little money!
I'll stop preaching now so you may visit the links. Enjoy!
